Lateral IP Associate 

6+ years of experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, counseling and enforcement.

Patent Attorney (Corporate)

Must have written patents and be admitted to practice at USPTO and in IL. Drafting and prosecuting U.S. patent applications and trademarks. Conducting Prior art searches and assist in guiding IP strategy.  Maintain IP docketing system. Liaise with external firms in patent litigation when necessary. Counsel regarding patentability, infringement, freedom to operate, and other IP related issues. Monitor and track new IP art in fields of interest. Assist in IP licensing agreements, NDA’s, and other IP related agreements. Assist in the administrative duties required for IP work flow. Coordinate with R&D and manufacturing regarding new products and processes.

Patent Attorney (Corporate)

Patent Attorney with a Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Science background to assist in the protection, licensing and enforcement of technology. Self-starter and entrepreneurial environment.  The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing strategic counseling and portfolio management for across multiple technical areas. Kee up to date on technical advances and manage the intellectual property portfolio in particular technologies.
MS/PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related scientific field. 1-3 years experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, as well as in analyzing and advising on patent infringement and validity issues. USPTO and IL registered. 2-5 years.
