Manage, direct and leverage specific designated patent (including related intellectual property (IP)) activities within the Pharmaceuticals business. Assist in formulation of patent strategies in development projects and providing patent situations. Secure freedom from valid blocking third party patent rights.Maintain full accountability to R&D, licensing/M&A. May represent company in litigation issues.Requires cross-functional communication and negotiation.Draft and prosecute Patent Applications. J.D. or L.L.B. and USPTO required. 5-7 years.
