Patent Attorney (Corporate)
Develop and Maintain company patent applications, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, licensing and research agreements, publications and intellectual property aspects of contracts and agreements. Prepare analysis of patents and evaluates the validity of competitors' patents and potential company product infringement upon valid patents of competitors. Conduct pre-patent filing review, Provide legal advice to the company concerning the patent viability of its inventions and the advisability of filing patent applications covering the company's inventions. Provide other general legal advice and represents the company in matters relating to intellectual property law. JD USPTO 8+ yrs PhD preferred in Biomedical, Bioengineering, or similar art.
Patent Associate
Up to four years of experience in patent law. Attorney should have a technical background in the areas of EE or CS/engineering. Must and have excellent academic credentials. USPTO and substantial prosecution experience, including litigation or transactional experience. Attorney will participate in patent prosecution and be responsible for drafting new patent applications, preparing substantive documents related to prosecution, and contributing to prosecution strategy. Attorney will also conduct patent analysis in support of litigation, licensing and due diligence.
