Work collaboratively with patent attorneys, scientists and management to create and secure protection for the Company’s intellectual property. Evaluate invention disclosure documents, draft and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications, supervise outside patent counsel, docket and file management, facilitate annuity and maintenance fee payments, conduct IP due diligence, freedom to operate and patentability studies, and other patent-related activities.
